TIRAMIS System

Dear Esteemed Clients,

we would like to inform you that the Tanzania Regulatory Insurance Authority (TIRA) has introduced a new TIRAMIS system for insurance throughout Tanzania effective 15th April 2021.

under the new TIRAMIS system motor insurance will be issued with electronic stickers instead of physical stickers. cover notes will remain to be issued.

Requirement for corporate business:

  1. VAT No.
  2. TIN No.
  3. Brela incorporation certificate.
  4. copy registration card.

Requirements for individual clients:

  1. National ID issued by NIDA.
  2. Passport number.
  3. Voters card.
  4. Driving License
  5. Date and place of birth.
