Lodging an insurance claim can be stressful, especially if you’re not familiar with the process or the ins and outs of your policy, or even what your rights and entitlements are.

The insured must:

  • Pay the Premium (cash and carry) to the insurer.
  • Notify the insurer on the loss occurrence (Prompt notification).
  • Provide the information as per the value at loss.
  • Furnish proof of meeting policy conditions.
  • Provide cooperation to the Imperium Insurance Brokers (IIB), through claim handling activities of assessment and adjustment.


Documentation may vary according to the nature of the policy or claim, the following are the basic documents:

  • Claim form.
  • Supporting evidence or documents.
  • Police reports.

With priority access, we will be able to lodge your claim on your behalf in a timely fashion. All you need to do is either fill out our insurer online claim form or call us and notify us of the incident, and provide us with relevant documentation needed to process the claim, such as a police report and/or images of damage.

We deal with claims every day. We understand policy wording and the many shades of grey. Our Claims officers interpret the wording to make their claims decisions. We are often able to offer another interpretation of the policy wording resulting in a different outcome.
